Welcome to Lean Six Sigma Games!

Lean Six Sigma games delivers high quality, fun and original games designed to teach various aspects of lean and six sigma.  Lean processes are fast, agile and are done right the first time and every time.  Six Sigma processes are measurable, repeatable and meet customer requirements every time.

We believe that the student learning these concepts is our ultimate customer and have set up the games with them in mind.  We believe that learning should be engaging, easy, transferable to their real job and a lot of fun.  You'll find our games and services to be focused on respect for each individual and their needs.

There are new ideas in the works!  We've changed the look of our site and will be adding some fun lean six sigma pictures and tools for you to use.  Also, check back soon for new lean six sigma games:  learning stats by playing poker with color coded cards!  Ever wanted to coach a basketball team and have them reach maximum potential?  A statistical analysis will let you do just that!  Lastly, our biggest project yet will look at how flow and data analysis can help a hospital setting.

Check out the blog for great ideas around facilitation, visualizing data, ice breakers, brain storming and more!

What is "Lean Six Sigma"?

Lean is a set of tools and methods aimed at making processes simpler, more efficient and more effective.  A lean process has less "waste" than normal processes.  There is no waiting, no mistakes and the customer always gets what they are looking for.  Lean improvement activities usually involve facilitation, observing and mapping processes to meet customer demand.  A key tenant to lean is 'respect for people' and everything they do to deliver value to the customer.  Quality, speed and customer satisfaction all improve with successful lean implementation.

Six Sigma is a set of tools and methods aimed at making processes repeatable with minimal variation.  A six sigma process gives you the same results every time and also meets customer expectations.  A six sigma improvement effort can involve facilitation but is usually centered around statistical analysis.  A key tenant to six sigma is 'show me the data'.  Again, quality and precision are the key tenants around six sigma.
